Letter to FOXXY: How do you realize a man is falling in love?

Hello, beloved FOXXY and your awesome readers!

I was thinking, should I write you a letter? Especially since the topic is just fire - “How to realize that a man is falling in love?”. I want to tell you everything as I see it. Maybe someone will benefit from my experience.

Where it all begins

Let's be honest: men “fall in love with their eyes” first. They notice looks. But! That doesn't mean you have to be a model. Everyone has their own idea of beauty.

My husband, for example, said he fell in love with me when he saw me laughing. He said, “You throw your head back and snort so funny!” And I didn't even realize that was a turn-on.

It gets more interesting

After the man has taken notice, stage two begins. And this is where they're funny:

  1. He's looking at you.
He watches how you act, what you talk about, what jokes you make.
  2. He starts to get your attention.
For example, he tells stories, makes jokes, offers help - even when you don't really need it.
  3. Gradually opens up.
It's getting serious. Men rarely talk about their feelings, but if he shares something personal with you, it means that you have become important to him.

Why do men take so long to think?

Until I realized that men have a bunch of fears, I thought they were just stalling. But then I started to notice:

  1. They're afraid of rejection.
Even if a guy looks super confident, inside he may be afraid you'll say, “No, I'm not interested in you.”
  2. They're afraid of losing their freedom.
For them, relationships sometimes feel like something like “the end of all fun.” While this is certainly not true.
  3. They are afraid of not living up to your expectations.
It's important for a man to be a hero to you, what if he fails?

How did I know he was in love?

Case in point: when my husband started falling in love, he suddenly became very attentive. I remember just mentioning in passing that I had an important meeting tomorrow. And guess what? He texted me in the morning, “How are you? Good luck at the meeting!”

That was the moment when I realized, “I'm screwed!”

How do you know he likes you?

  • He remembers the little things.
What flowers you like, what you drink in the morning, when it's your birthday - it all starts to come up in conversation.
  • He wants to please you.
Whether it's a coffee, a compliment, or a funny picture, he tries to make sure you have a reason to smile.
  • He gets jealous.
Even though it may not always be noticeable, he tenses up if another man appears next to you.

My main conclusion

Girls, it's simple: for a man to fall in love, you have to be yourself. Don't try to seem like someone else. Smile, joke, do what you love, and everything will happen!

Men, despite their “complexity”, appreciate sincerity. And if there is someone near you who looks at you with warmth - take care of him.

Thank you for reading! I hope my experience was helpful to you or at least made you smile.

Love, your Kate 💖
